AT LCCC we are an approved “Sun Smart” centre.
We ensure your child can engage in fun, sun safe outdoor play throughout the day, as our outdoor centre has good quality shaded areas, including natural trees and shrubs. Our educators Role model and wear sunhats and sunscreen and include outdoor curriculum as we acknowledge the importance of active physical and outdoor play for overall health and development for your child.
We provide 50+ cancer council approved sunscreen. Families of Children with skin sensitivities are welcome to bring their own.
Need a sunhat to leave at child care? As part of our fundraising project, sunhats and tops can be purchased at the office.
