Integrated Kindergarten Program
The Integrated Kindergarten program is delivered by an Early Childhood Teacher who is available Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 1:30pm.
The Kindergarten program runs from 7.00am to 6.30pm, 5 days per week to support our families and caregivers who require extended hours of care. The children do not change rooms throughout the day, remaining in their Kinder Classroom for the duration of their session.
Integrated Kindergarten provides the same learning opportunities as Sessional Kindergarten with the flexibility of extended hours of care available within the Integrated classrooms.
→ 3-year-old Integrated Kindergarten is available for one (1) to five (5) days per week.
→ 4-year-old Integrated Kindergarten is available for a minimum of three (3) days per week to ensure your child/ren has full access to the program.
These can be any mixture of days depending upon your care requirements.
All of our kindergarten programs cater to children individual needs and interests, whilst adhering to National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Frameworks.
Eligibility:
Children should be enrolled for minimum of three days to ensure they have full access to the funded program.
→ To be eligible for integrated 3 year old kindergarten program child should turn 3 before 30th of April
→ To be eligible for integrated 4 year old kindergarten program child should turn 4 before 30th of April
Hours:
Program is available from 7.00am to 6.30pm 5 days per week.
The Kindergarten Teacher is available from 8.30 to 1.30pm 5 days per week.
Fees:
$149 per day
For families who choose to access Kindergarten Funding at our Service, Integrated Kinder is subsidised for 15 hours a week.
Early Start Kindergarten:
Early Start Kindergarten provides up to 15 hours of free or low-cost kindergarten per week to eligible three-year-old children where programs are offered by a qualified teacher. Applications for Early Start Kindergarten funding are made by the service on your behalf, and the grant is paid directly to the service.
To be eligible for Early Start Kindergarten, your child must be 3 by 30 April in the year they start kindergarten and meet one of the following criteria:
→ are from a refugee or asylum seeker background, or
→ are Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, or
→ have had contact with Child Protection, including children in out of home care.
Pre-Prep:
Four-Year-Old Kindergarten is becoming Pre-Prep in Victoria, offering children more hours to learn and socialise through play. Pre-Prep will be delivered through standalone (sessional) kindergartens and long day care centres.
In 2026, 16-25 hours of Pre-Prep will be available statewide for Victorian children:
→ who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
→ from a refugee or asylum seeker background
→ who have had contact with Child Protection
